A Tale of Two Cities

The novel A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens is about the two cities France and England during the French Revolution. In England the people worry about their religious views and about what they should follow while in France the people worry about all of the excessive spending and the violence going on. Three passengers travel from London to Dover and the trip is very tiring, they have to walk alongside the carriage and hike. Suddenly a messenger appears and asks for the banker Jarvis Lorry the letter stated to wait in Dover for someone. On the trip Lorry continues to doze in and out of dreams that are mainly about the Tellson bank. Lorry talks to an imaginary companion that constantly tells him that he has been buried nearly eighteen years and Lorry claims that he has been recalled to life. They continue to talk and the ghost/ companion asks about the woman and the claims that he does not wish to see her.

This is my life poem

*This poem is well worth reading because sometimes all of us feel like this about life. We stop and think "What really is life?" and we don't cut ourselfs slack for certain things. I do this a lot and this poem stated everything I think and feel at times that is why I liked it and connected with it.
Life defines in Metabolism,

In reproduction,

we make our miniature selves,

our look alike

In the power of adaptation,

like what is in now,

What is fashionable,

how I blend with all of you

How I mimic you,

how I become a clown to you,

Life in being nice

This is my life A short and a merry one

This my life In the middle of my own life

To life,

a life,

in the hope of discovering the meaning of my life,

My speech my poetry

Come to life with me

To the life,

for the life of one like me,

Not taking this life in my own hands,

Never,

never,

To life,

this is life

As big as life

as large as life is large

In resiliency,

in elasticity

Animations, cartooning, animate,

I vivify

I vilify

I quicken

I liken

The life force in my life’s functions

Drawn from life

to life drawn

Dream to life a life full of dreams

This liveliness, this sparkle

This effervescence of life,

this bubbling life like wine

This sprightliness like soft

Drink like energy drinks

This verve,

this vigor

this vivacity

Of life to life as big as life

My life

This is my life

This me I am life

I am energy

i am in this poem trying to run

away from everything in my life,

running in life

to life and life,

because of life,

for life.

Big Question Abstract

Teen pregnancy has become more common as society has grown. I grew up in a small community and I saw how common this was, one of the things that I noticed was that most young teenage parents came from young teenage parents themselves. The research that I found showed that 22% of daughters from teenage mothers are more likely to become mothers. In the US 750,000-850,000 woman age 15-19 become pregnant.  Some of the factors that contribute to this are poverty, drugs, alcohol, and rape.  This type of environment is more likely to come from a home provided by teenage parents. That is why that cycle tends to take a while to end since the environment continues to remain the same.
